The Indian motorcycle market has begun the year with price hikes from nearly every manufacturer. Bajaj, also recently joined the bandwagon by hiking the prices of its entire range.
And the list also includes the Dominar 250. The smaller Dominar now costs Rs 1,67,718; an increase of Rs 2,000 over the previous pricing. However, the increase in price has brought no changes to the motorcycle and it continues to have the same, Dominar 400 inspired styling and bodywork. Moreover, it also gets nearly the same features as its bigger sibling that includes full-LED lighting and an LCD instrument cluster and a secondary cluster on the tank.
Powering the Bajaj Dominar 250 is a 248cc, single-cylinder engine borrowed from the KTM 250 Duke. The motor on the Dominar 250 produces 26.6bhp and 23.5Nm. As for competition, the motorcycle goes up against the Suzuki Gixxer 250 which costs Rs 1.65 lakh.
