Bajaj Auto has revised the prices of its flagship offering, the Dominar 400, along with its smaller quarter-litre sibling, the Dominar 250, in India. Strangely, the latter has received a higher increment of Rs 6,400 whereas the former got dearer by Rs 3,152. As a result, the Dominar 400 now costs Rs 2,23,538 while the Dominar 250 sets you back by Rs 1,75,002 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). Notably, the new prices are effective from July 2022.
The Bajaj Dominar 250 was last updated in August 2021 when the motorcycle received three new dual-tone colour options and was left unaltered in all other aspects. The motorcycle is powered by a 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that’s good for 26.6bhp at 8,500rpm and 23.5Nm at 6,500rpm. It is decently equipped with features and the list comprises slipper clutch, full-LED lighting system, digital console, and 13-litre fuel tank.
Now, all the features present on the Dominar 400 are the same as those on the Dominar 250. The engine, however, is a bigger 373.3cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 39.42bhp and 35Nm of peak torque. As for the Dominar 400’s most recent update, it came in October last year which brought along factory-fitted touring accessories. Making it a better mile-muncher now are knuckle guards, a tall windscreen, a pillion backrest, a luggage carrier, and saddle stays.
