All those who are planning to bring home Bajaj’s flagship motorcycle, you’ll have to shell out slightly more now. As is the case with all other Bajaj offerings, the price of Dominar 400 has witnessed a small hike recently. With a price tag of Rs 1,99,755 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it costs Rs 1,997 more now.
Despite the price hike, the Bajaj Dominar 400 comes across as an attractive machine, mainly for those who ride long distances frequently. It gets a plethora of modern features along with a premium hardware package. Powering the motorcycle is a 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which makes 39.42 bhp at 8,800rpm and 35 Nm at 6,500rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch.
As for the hardware, the Dominar 400 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 43mm upside down front forks and a multi-step adjustable rear monoshock. Braking setup includes 320mm disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear. It tips the scales at a hefty 187kg (kerb) and incorporates a 13 litre fuel tank. On the feature front, Bajaj has equipped the bike with LED lighting all around, a data-intensive fully-digital instrument cluster and a dual-barrel exhaust. It is available in two colour options including black and green.
