Most of the Indian two-wheeler makers have been marginally but consistently increasing the prices of their products. We recently told you about the Hero Splendor Plus and TVS Ntorq 125 becoming more expensive. Now, another motorcycle which has recently joined this queue is Bajaj’s flagship offering, the Dominar 400 BS6.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 was previously priced at Rs 194,751, which was after its first price hike since the launch of its BS6 models in April 2020. Now, the touring motorcycle has witnessed a price increment for the second time. Priced at Rs 196,258, the Dominar 400 is Rs 1507 more expensive now (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Dominar 400 is majorly a touring-oriented motorcycle which offers comfortable yet slightly commanding riding position. Also, it packs a host of modern features such as full-LED lighting, digital instrument cluster and a small LCD on the fuel tank. Powering the bike is a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor which churns out 39.4bhp and 35Nm. Tipping the scales at 187kg, it is slightly on the heavier side.
With the existing price tag, the Bajaj Dominar 400 BS6 competes against the Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 250 Duke and Suzuki Gixxer 250.
