- Compliant with ethanol blended fuels up to 27.5 per cent
- Unveiled at Bharat Mobility Expo 2024
- No changes in the design and features department
Bajaj Auto has unveiled the Dominar 400 E27.5 flex fuel version at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. The motorcycle is compliant with ethanol blended fuels of up to 27.5 per cent.
The 2024 Dominar 400 is already compliant with E20 fuels, but Bajaj wanted to increase the ethanol blending to E27.5. That said, this is still lower than some of the bikes showcased at Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, which offered ethanol blending of up to 85 per cent.
Besides the E27.5 compliant engine, the Bajaj Dominar 400 remains unchanged. It continues to get a 373cc, liquid-cooled motor that produces 39.5bhp at 8,800rpm and 35Nm at 6,500rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, the Dominar 400 gets full-LED lighting all around, dual-channel ABS, and a negative-LCD display. The motorcycle is suspended on 43mm upside down forks up p front and a gas-charged monoshock at the back. Meanwhile, braking duties are carried out by a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc.
