Bajaj’s flagship motorcycle – the Dominar 400 has received 2500 bookings since its launch that happened on December 15, 2016.
The bookings for the Dominar 400 is currently being taken only through an online booking engine. However, the rest of the formalities including the deliveries which begins from today is done at the 25 dealerships across the country. While the Dominar 400 is initially being sold through 80 showrooms, the first phase of the deliveries is limited to 25 outlets only.
With an attractive pricing of Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the demand for the Bajaj Dominar 400 is bound to increase in the next few weeks. Known for its styling and the 390cc engine, the Dominar has attracted a lot of young buyers from across the country. In fact, the Dominar 400 went on to become the most popular motorcycle on BikeWale in December 2016, defeating the Royal Enfield Classic 350, which took the second spot. Bajaj is pitching the Dominar 400 against the Classic 350 due to the cruise nature of the bike and the price point. However, it will be interesting to see if this Bajaj bike will be able to pull some buyers from the Chennai-based brand.
