Bajaj seems to be planning to launch a new paint scheme for its flagship bike, the Dominar 400. In what seems like a spy shot taken at the factory floor, the Dominar 400 can be seen sporting a gloss red paint scheme.
Rumoured to be called the Racing Red Edition, this model features gloss red tank, rear panels and headlamp cowl. The wheels, fenders, forks and the engine are blacked out while the frame and swingarm are finished in silver. Under the skin, the Dominar 400 will get the same 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 34.5bhp and 35Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.
We can expect this new model to be introduced in January, when Bajaj will be unveiling MY2018 updates for its entire line-up. While the demand for the Dominar 400 has been dropping slowly, we expect this update to give the sales numbers a shot in the arm.
