- Bajaj Dominar 400 to get touring kit soon
- Likely to be offered as optional accessories
- Could be launched in the next couple of months
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is already being positioned as a touring motorcycle. However, new spy shots of a unit decked up with accessories suggest that Bajaj is looking to push the Dominar 400’s touring characteristics even further.
The Dominar 400 that was spotted inside the manufacturer’s Chakan facility was fitted with a large windscreen and knuckles guards. These colour-matched knuckle guards are unlike the ones found on the KTM’s motorcycles and feature black plastic, similar to the windscreen, on the upper half. While the spy images only revealed the front of the motorcycle, we can expect Bajaj to add a few more accessories to the list which are likely to be offered as optional accessories. (A tail rack or pannier holders, maybe?)
And with the Indian festive season coming up in a couple of months, we can also expect the manufacturer to launch the Dominar 400 Touring Edition around the same time. If it is launched as a variant, it will definitely be priced at a premium over the standard model that costs Rs 2.11 lakh.
