- Bajaj registers 11 per cent increase in sales in March
- Domestic sales grew by 5 per cent, exports by 20
- Pulsar 150, Platina contributes the most
Bajaj Motorcycles has registered 11 per cent growth in March. The company sold 2,69,939 units in March 2018 as compared to 2,44,235 units in the same month last year.
The Pune-based manufacturer registered positive growth in both domestic and exports. The domestic sales saw an increase of 5 per cent at 1,58,987 units as against 1,51,449 units in March 2018. The exports grew by a whopping 20 per cent at 1,10,952 units from 92,786 units in the corresponding month last year.
Bajaj Motorcycles doesn’t reveal model-wise sales figures. But the Pulsar 150 and the Platina continue to be its largest selling bikes. The CT100 manages to bring some good sales figures too. The other two highest selling brands for Bajaj are the Discover 100 and the bigger Pulsars.
