Bajaj has increased the prices of the Dominar 400 by around Rs 2000.
The 2018 model was launched back in January with no change in prices as compared to the previous model. It was priced at Rs 1.42 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 1.56 lakhs for the ABS version. Now the standard variant is priced at Rs 1.44 lakhs and the ABS version retails at Rs 1.58 lakhs; an increase of Rs 2,004 to be specific.
For 2018, the Dominar 400 gets new colour schemes of matte black, red and blue along with golden rims. However, mechanically it remains the same and continues to be powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that produces 34.5bhp and 35Nm of torque.
On the other hand, Bajaj will soon discontinue the non-ABS version of the bike due to lack of demand. Dominar 400 customers prefer the dual-channel ABS version which retails for a premium of Rs 14,162 over the standard version. The bike faces competition from the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X in the Indian market.
