With an aim to attract more buyers this festive season, Bajaj Auto has introduced a special offer for its flagship motorcycle, the Dominar 400. Through this offer, customers can avail a cash discount of Rs 6,000 on the on-road price of the motorcycle. Besides that, Bajaj is also offering five free maintenance services with the bike, instead of three maintenance services it provides otherwise. Summing up these benefits, customers end up saving a total of Rs 7,200 on the on-road price.
Interestingly, this offer comes on the heels of a major price hike Bajaj recently gave to the Dominar 400. The motorcycle became pricier by as much as Rs 10,000 last week which took its ex-showroom price up to Rs 1.90 lakhs. This was the second hike received by the power cruiser after the increment of Rs 6,000 in July, which was the post-introductory price revision. The 2019 version of the Dominar 400 was launched in April with a price tag of Rs 1.74 lakhs (All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 2019 Dominar 400 is a major departure over its predecessor. While it received subtle updates in terms of design and features, the cycle parts and engine have been tweaked substantially. The motorcycle comes powered by a 373.3cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder motor which churns out 39.4bhp of power at 8650rpm and 35Nm of peak torque at 7500rpm.
Bajaj offers the 2019 Dominar 400 in two colour options - Aurora Green and Vine Black. In India, the motorcycle locks horns with the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the KTM 390 Duke.
