When it was first unveiled to the world, the bike was called the Bajaj Pulsar CS400. It was recently christened to the Kratos 400 and now, there’s a new name – the Dominar 400.
Bajaj couldn’t register the Kratos 400 due to the trademark issue. This brand name has been registered to a product in the same two-wheeler space. After finding this out, the branding team decided on the Dominar 400. This new brand has already been registered and we’ll see some marketing action sometime next month.
One of the major reasons with the delay of this new 400cc bike was related to the creation of the new brand. The motorcycle has been ready to hit the production line since many weeks now, however, the lack of new brand name didn’t let it happen. The Pune-based manufacturer will launch the Dominar 400 early next month. This bike will take on the Royal Enfields which have been the leader of the segment since many years now.
Stay tuned!
