- Bajaj could swap KTM AG shares with KTM Industrie AG

Bajaj and KTM are likely to strengthen its future partnership. The Pune-based manufacturer may sell its 48 per cent stake of KTM AG to KTM Industrie AG, which is the parent company.
In return, Bajaj is looking to get a comparable stake in KTM Industrie AG. The KTM Industrie AG is a parent company that owns KTM, Husqvarna and WP. If this new process gets through, Bajaj is likely to a bigger say in future decisions. Plus, Bajaj will also get better access to technologies. The final draft is currently being done, and we will hear an official announcement later this year.
Bajaj and KTM partnership have helped both the brands considerably. While got access to KTM’s technologies, the latter managed to become one of the largest premium bike maker in the world, thanks to Bajaj’s manufacturing capabilities. If and when the new partnership goes through, both the companies are expected to benefit tremendously.
