Bajaj has been looking to take advantage of two of its famous brands, V and the Avenger. The company plans to expand the line-up by adding one variant to each of these successful brands. .
According to a report, the new V variant will be an entry-level one and will sit between the Platina, CT100 and the standard V15. It looks like the Pune-based manufacturer feels there’s a market for a good looking entry-level V12 as well. Bajaj plans to introduce a new Avenger variant as well. However, it is still not clear if it will be a 150cc or a 220cc variant. The Avenger series have been doing really well for the company. The lack of competition and the lucrative pricing have made the Avenger the choice for a big chunk of cruiser buyers in the country.
Bajaj had previously experimented with launching several variants of the Discover in different segments, but it didn’t work out very well. Eventually, all the variants apart from the Discover 125 were phased out. We contacted Bajaj to get some concrete information on the new V and Avenger bikes, but we’re yet to hear from them.
