Bajaj may launch a new 150cc version of the Discover in the next few weeks, a source informed BikeWale. On the other hand, a BikeWale reader spotted a new variant of the Discover being testing in Dehu road yesterday which looked like the 150cc version of the Discover.
The motorcycle design and the rear twin shock absorber of the spied motorcycle looked similar to the Discover 125T motorcycle. However, two features that are making us believe is it’s a 150cc Discover is that the spied motorcycle had a bigger fuel tank and was cruising above 100kmp at ease. But the test rider turned around and headed back when our reader was getting ready to click pictures.
Few weeks ago, Bajaj had confirmed to launch six new Discover motorcycles for the Indian market out of which one has been already launched, the Discover 125T. The Pune based manufacturer has stopped selling the Discover 150 a year ago and the same has been taken down from the Bajaj Auto official site. However, the Discover 150 link is still active, which also makes us believe that the company is in the process of launching a new Discover 150.
We are also expecting Bajaj will launch an 180cc variant of the Discover and will also update the current Discover 100 in next few months. Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get more details on the upcoming Discover motorcycles.
