- The scheme was earlier offered only on Platina 100ES
- It provides five free services, five years free own damage insurance and five year free warranty
- The company is likely to introduce an updated Dominar 400
Bajaj is now offering its 5-5-5 customer benefit scheme to the buyers of the Dominar 400. The scheme offers five free services, five years free own damage insurance and five year free warranty. It will be valid till 31 December 2018.
Named as the ‘Goodbye 2018 Offer’, the full-fledged scheme was earlier offered only on the Platina 100ES model but is now available upon the purchase of company’s flagship motorcycle as well. As for the free services, three services are provided in the first year of purchase and the remaining two can be done during second year of purchase. However, during these five free services, only the labour charges are exempted.
Bajaj offering these benefits on the Dominar 400 can be attributed to its dwindling sales. Notably, the company sold 659 units of the power cruiser during October this year which came down from 1652 units in the corresponding month last year. Bajaj is likely to launch an updated model of the Dominar 400 for 2019 and the scheme could be a move for clearing the 2018 stocks.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is priced at Rs 1.63 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). It competes against the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X, Royal Enfield Classic 350 Signals, Royal Enfield Himalayan and the Honda CBR 250R. For detailed information about Bajaj’s 5-5-5 offer, visit here.
