Bajaj Auto is planning to export 1000 Pulsar 200NS to Indonesia this month after the initial 500 units were successfully exported last month. The company sells the Pulsar 200NS through its partner Kawasaki in Indonesia with Kawasaki Bajaj Pulsar 200NS badge.
The Pulsar 200NS is sold in Indonesia at 23.3 million Indonesia Rupiah (Rs 1.33 lakh) and is exported through completely-built-up (CBU) route. Bajaj has been selling the Pulsar 135LS, 180 and the 220 in Indonesia since last few years. But these motorcycles are sold through Bajaj’s official dealers and not through Kawasaki. Only Pulsar 200NS is sold through Kawasaki with their brand.
"We recently started exporting the Pulsar 200NS bikes to Indonesia. We exported a batch of 500 units of this bike to Indonesia in July and plan to export another lot of 1,000 units during August to Kawasaki. These bikes are currently being rolled out from the Chakan facility, at par with our requirements,” said Pradeep Shrivastava, chief operating officer, Bajaj Auto.
