- Platina 100 kick-start gets a price hike of Rs 1,498
- Electric-start version of the Platina 100 range does not get a price increase
- Platina H-Gear gets expensive by Rs 2,349
Bajaj Auto has revised the prices of the Platina 100 and the Platina 110 H-Gear, and the commuter segment motorcycles are now expensive by Rs 1,498 and Rs 2,349 over their respective previous ex-showroom tags. Thus, the Platina 100 kick-start version is now priced at Rs 49,261 while the Platina 110 H-Gear is available at Rs 62,899.
The electric-start variant of the Platina 100, however, remains unaffected by this price increase and it continues to retail for Rs 55,546. Do note that Bajaj Auto had revised the prices of the Platina range in May this year. The previous hike saw a price increase of Rs 498, Rs 749 and Rs 748 for the Platina 100 kick-start, Platina 100 electric-start and the Platina 110 H-Gear respectively.
The Platina 100 series uses a 102cc engine that produces 7.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.34Nm at 5,500rpm. The Platina 110 H-Gear, which is the first motorcycle in its segment to get a five-speed gearbox, uses a 115.45cc motor that churns out 8.3bhp at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm at 5,000rpm.
Apart from the Platina range, Bajaj Auto has also revised the prices of the CT 100 and the CT 110 motorcycles. With the new price hike, the CT series is expensive by Rs 1,498 over the previous ex-showroom tags.
