- Gets a 240mm disc with a single channel ABS at the front
- Priced at Rs 65,926
- Available in three colours
Bajaj Auto has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the new Platina 110 ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) in the Indian market. The commuter motorcycle has been launched in the country at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 65,926. In comparison, the standard version of the motorcycle is available at Rs 64,685.
The Bajaj Platina 110 is the only motorcycle in its segment to get the safety net of ABS. It comes with a 240mm single disc with single-channel ABS at the front and a 110mm drum unit with CBS at the back to perform the anchoring tasks. The changes are limited to the addition of ABS.
Rest of the specifications, on the other hand, remain identical to the existing variants. Thus, the Platina 110 ABS continues to use a 115 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 8.4bhp at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm at 5,000rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed transmission.
The feature list retains a halogen headlight with an LED DRL at the front, knuckle guards, quilted seats, a Nitrox spring-on-spring rear suspension, telescopic front forks, and alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The instrument cluster witnesses the addition of an ABS indicator. The Platina 110 ABS will be offered in three colours – Charcoal Black, Volcanic Red, and Beach Blue.
