Bajaj Platina 110 Comfortec photo gallery

Bajaj launched the successor to one of its best-selling bikes, the Platina Comfortec, in the commuter segment. The Platina 110 Comfortec has already arrived at dealerships, albeit with a bigger engine than the 100cc Platina along with a few other updates. Let’s see which they are.

The Platina Comfortec was recently updated with a curve LED DRL which has been retained on the 110cc version as well.

The instrument cluster is the same analogue unit which consists of a speedometer, fuel guage and trip meter.

It gets an 11.5-litre fuel tank with a new set of decals similar to the new Discover 110.

The rear panel also gets the refreshed graphics along with the ‘110 Comfortec’ badging. It gets conventional tail lamps.

The motorcycle rides on 17-inch front and rear wheels with five-spoke alloys. The front wheel is suspended on telescopic forks.

The rear brake is now linked with front brake and Bajaj calls this set up as the ‘anti-skid braking’ system.  This reduces skidding of tyres during emergency braking.

At the rear, the conventional twin shock absorbers have now been updated with gas-charged units.

Powering the bike is a 115cc, air-cooled, DTSi engine that produces 8.6bhp of power and 9.81Nm of torque. It is mated to a four-speed gearbox.

The Bajaj Platina 110 Comfortec has been priced at Rs 49,453 (ex-showroom, Kolkata) which is expensive than its 100cc version by Rs 2000.
