Bajaj Pulsar 125 – the most affordable Pulsar will make its India debut very soon. In fact, we think this Pulsar will be either launched in this month itself or the first half of September. 

The Pulsar 125 is being launched to make the sports brand a bit more affordable. The rising insurance costs, along with the increase in overall cost due to the introduction have made the bikes quite expensive. Plus, with the introduction of BS-VI engine from next year, the price of the bikes are bound to increase and that will make the products quite expensive. 

In order to counter these developments, Bajaj has decided to bring an affordable Pulsar. This upcoming bike will be based on the current platform and not the NS platform. Bajaj believes that with the Pulsar 125, it will be able to cater to a segment that wants a performance brand but with less displacement and better fuel efficiency.

The Pulsar 125 is likely to be priced between Rs 60,000 and Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). It doesn’t have a direct rival due to its production positioning, but it will lock heads with some of the 125cc premium commuter motorcycles.
