The BS6-compliant version of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat has started to arrive at the dealerships in select cities. The premium variant of the Pulsar 125 is only available in certain regions of the country. The standard edition, on the other hand, is available across India.
The premium edition of the Pulsar 125 series comes equipped with Pulsar 150 inspired graphics, an engine cowl, split seats and a two-piece pillion grabrail. The premium styling gives the Pulsar 125 Split Seat version a sportier look than the standard model.
While the Pulsar 125 Split Seat version features premium styling, the engine and hardware are similar to the standard model. Thus, the motorcycle uses a 124.4cc, single-cylinder, engine that produces 11.6bhp of peak power at 8,500rpm and 11Nm of maximum torque at 6,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
The hardware on the motorcycle includes conventional telescopic forks at the front and twin gas-shocks at the back to perform the shock absorption tasks. Braking duties are performed by a disc at the front and a drum unit at the back while the safety net includes CBS tech.
