- Gets drum brakes on both wheels
- Available in two colours
Bajaj Auto has introduced the drum brake variant of the Pulsar 125 Split Seat. The new variant of the 125cc motorcycle is priced at Rs 73,274. In comparison, the disc brake version is available at Rs 80,218 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
The changes are limited to the braking setup. Everything else is identical on both variants of the Pulsar 125 Split Seat. Thus, the colour options include Black Red and Black Silver paints. The Pulsar 125 Split Seat comes equipped with a halogen headlight with twin DRLs, muscular fuel tank with shrouds, engine cowl, and split-style seats. The hardware comprises of telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided springs at the back.
The 125cc Pulsar range uses a 124.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that produces 11.64bhp and 10.8Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a five-speed gearbox.
The new variant, which retails at a lower price tag than the disc brake version, should attract more buyers, thus helping the brand to further boost the sales during the high demand festive season.
