We expect Bajaj Auto to make an announcement about the launch and availability of the Pulsar 125 Split-Seat BS6 very soon. Meanwhile, the BS6-compliant version of the motorcycle has started to arrive at several dealerships.
The premium variant of the Pulsar 125 series features added equipment that enhances its sporty looks. The design includes Pulsar 150 inspired graphics, an engine cowl, split seats and a two-piece pillion grabrail.
The changes, however, are limited to cosmetic upgrades over the standard model. The engine specifications and hardware, on the other hand, remain similar to the standard Pulsar 125. The motorcycle is powered by a BS6-compliant 124.4cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 11.6bhp at 8,500rpm and 11Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed transmission.
The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 79,079 in Pune. In comparison, the standard model is offered at Rs 70,963 (drum) and Rs 75,462 (disc) in the same city.
