Bajaj recently launched the Pulsar 125 Neon; its most affordable offering, in India. Now, just a month later, the manufacturer has introduced the Pulsar 125 Split-Seat variant in Andhra Pradesh with a price tag of Rs 70,618 (ex-showroom, Hyderabad).
The motorcycle costs a premium of around Rs 3,900 over the Pulsar 125 Neon variant which is priced at Rs 66,714 (ex-showroom, Hyderabad). While it shares its 124cc engine, braking and suspension hardware with the standard model, Pulsar 125 split-seat variant comes with cosmetic additions to set it apart. To begin with, it gets the obvious split-seat with split-grab rail setup. It also gets an underbelly and tank extensions similar to the Pulsar 150. Bajaj is also offering the Pulsar 125 Split-seat variant in a gloss black base colour with red or blue graphics.
The motorcycle is also available in North-East Indian states of Assam, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura with prices ranging from Rs 71,891 to Rs 72,915 (ex-showroom). As we reported earlier, Bajaj is planning to introduce the Pulsar 125 Split-Seat in phases across India and is gauging customer responses before an India wide launch.
