- Bajaj Pulsar 125 gets a new variant
- Sports a split seat and other cosmetic upgrades
- Currently available only in Andhra Pradesh
Bajaj launched the Pulsar 125 Neon, the most affordable model in the Pulsar range recently. And just a few weeks later the company seems to have introduced a new variant for the motorcycle.
It is likely to drop the ‘Neon’ suffix and be called the Pulsar 125, similar to the Pulsar 150 range. While the mechanicals of the motorcycle is the same, it gets cosmetic add-ons that differentiate it from the Neon variant. It sports a split-seat, tank extensions, engine belly pan and new split grab rail. Furthermore, it also gets new graphics and is available in two colours- red and blue.
Now the only catch here is that the Pulsar 125 split-seat variant is currently only available in Andhra Pradesh. The company will gauge the response towards the bike before launching it across India. Moreover, it is expected to cost a premium of 2000-3000 over the Neon variant which is priced at Rs 66,618. While this pricing will put the Pulsar 125 split-seat variant close to the Pulsar 150 Neon (Rs 71,200) in terms of pricing, it also offers more desirability thanks to the cosmetic add-ons along with a more frugal engine.
