The Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i facelift has been spotted at a dealership a day after Bajaj teased its 2017 Pulsar line-up.
Cosmetic updates include a new black paint scheme with red decals and matte grey finish for the engine. The new Pulsar 150 DTS-i also gets a new seat to improve comfort. While the Pulsar 180 DTS-i and Pulsar 220F gain a blue backlit instrument console for 2017, the Pulsar 150 DTS-i continues with an orange backlit display.
Surprisingly, the source of this spy shot reveals that the 2017 Pulsar 150 DTS-i is not BS IV-compliant unlike the other two 2017 Pulsar models. However it seems unlikely that Bajaj will wait till these emission norms are enforced, and we expect this facelift to be BS IV-compliant.
Select dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the new Pulsar 150 DTS-i for a token amount of Rs 1,000. Though Bajaj has refused to divulge the launch date, dealerships are expecting deliveries to commence in the second week of December. We can expect it to be marginally more expensive than the current bike, which retails at Rs 72,081 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Pulsar 150 DTS-i competes with the Honda CB Unicorn 150, Hero Xtreme Sports, TVS Apache RTR 160 and the Yamaha SZ-RR.
