- Gets sportier graphics and underbelly panel
- It is available in black colour with red and blue graphics
- Pricing of the Pulsar 150 twin disc remains the same
Bajaj has launched the 2019 model of its Pulsar 150 twin disc variant. The motorcycle has received subtle cosmetic changes. Pricing of the Pulsar 150 twin disc remains unchanged at Rs 78,618 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). It is available in black colour with options of blue and red graphics.
As for the updates, the graphics on the motorcycle are now edgier while it has also received an underbelly cowl as an added design element. Moreover, the underseat panel now gets a carbon-fibre-like finish. The Pulsar 150 twin disc remains the same in terms of cycle parts and powerplant.
Powering the bike is a 149cc, air-cooled, carburetor motor that churns out 15bhp of power and 12Nm of torque. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Braking chores are handled by disc brakes on both the ends (for twin disc variant) while telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers take care of suspension duties.
This comes after the company recently introduced cosmetically updated models of the Pulsar 150 Classic and twin disc. Bajaj has started upgrading its bikes with ABS and its best selling Pulsar 150 range is also expected to get the safety net soon. In India, it goes up against the Hero Xtreme Sports, Hero Achiever 150, TVS Apache RTR 160 and the Honda CB Unicorn 150.
