- Production was terminated a few months back
- Dealers have stopped receiving stock
Bajaj Auto has discontinued the Pulsar 180 in the Indian market. As per our dealer sources, they have stopped receiving the stock of the bike and the production was terminated a few months back. The reason for the discontinuation could be the lack of demand and the need to make way for the newer generation Pulsar models.
The outgoing Pulsar 180 was introduced back in February 2021, soon after the 180cc doppelganger of the Pulsar 220F was taken off the shelves. It boasts a design almost identical to the Pulsar 150 with mild visual changes and different colour options. The last known ex-showroom price of the Pulsar 180 is Rs 1.17 lakh.
Powering the Pulsar 180 is a 178.6cc, air-cooled, DTSI engine that churns out 16.76bhp and 14.52Nm of peak torque. It’s mated to a five-speed gearbox. With a 15-litre fuel tank, the motorcycle weighs 151kg. As for the cycle parts, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends with telescopic forks and dual springs with five-step preload adjustability. Braking is handled by a single disc at both ends with single-channel ABS as standard.
