Bajaj Auto has revised the prices of select models, and the Pulsar 180F Neon is among the list of affected motorcycles. The 180cc model from the Pulsar series is now available for Rs 1,10,816 as against Rs 1,09,818 (both ex-showroom Pune prices), which is an increase of Rs 998.
The Pulsar 180F Neon bridges the gap between the Pulsar 150 series and the Pulsar 220F. The motorcycle is powered by a 178cc, air-cooled motor that makes 17bhp at 8,500rpm and 14.2Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox. There are no changes to the styling cues, and the Pulsar 180F Neon continues to use a semi-fairing, muscular design, clip-on style handlebars, split seats and sporty pillion grab rail and an engine cowl.
The hardware, too, remains unaltered, and the Pulsar 180F Neon continues to use telescopic forks and dual shocks to perform the shock absorption tasks. Anchoring power comes from disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net includes a single-channel ABS. The motorcycle is available in three colours – Black Red, Neon Orange and Black Silver.
