- The token amount is set to Rs 1,000
- Deliveries could commence by mid-March
- No changes have been made to the bike
Select Bajaj dealers have reopened the bookings for the Pulsar 220F. The news comes in after a few months of officially discontinuing the bike. Here’s what we know about it.
Interested buyers can book the 220F for a token amount of Rs 1,000 and expect delivery around mid-March. That said, the stock is yet to arrive at the dealerships. Our sources reveal that this is the result of an onslaught of demand for the bike from various parts of the country. Even though Bajaj has the N250 and the F250 on offer, the sales numbers indicate rather gloomy progress so far for the quarter-litre twins. Moreover, the longevity and sentimental value that the Pulsar 220F held makes sense for the brand to relaunch it.
We expect no mechanical or cosmetic changes on the bike. So, it’s likely to feature the same design with the LED projector headlight, sleek fairing, and youthful styling. Even the 220cc single-cylinder motor with the output rated at 21bhp and 19Nm will be unaltered. It’ll continue to ride on telescopic front forks and dual rear shock with a single front and rear disc brake setup.
Its asking price is likely around Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the same as before the bike was off the shelves.
