- Bajaj Pulsar 220F BS6 price increased
- Now costs Rs 1,19,763 (ex-showroom, Pune)
- Remains unchanged in all other aspects
Bajaj Auto has marginally increased the prices of a majority of its BS6 two-wheelers for the second time in India. One of the oldest running models of the brand, the Pulsar 220F BS6, is also a part of this hike. While it was priced at Rs 1,18,765 after the price revision in May 2020, the recent hike has taken the cost up to Rs 1,19,763 (both prices are ex-showroom, Pune).
The half-faired design of the Pulsar 220F has remained majorly the same ever since its inception, barring the minor changes in its decals. The headlamp of the bike integrates halogen bulb while the tail lamp incorporates LEDs. The instrumentation comprises a semi-digital console. With the presence of clip-on handlebars, split seat and slightly rear-set footpegs, the Pulsar 220F offers a riding position which is marginally sporty yet comfortable.
Powering the BS6 version of the bike is a 220cc, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine which produces 19.8bhp of power and 18.55Nm of peak torque. This unit comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is pretty old-school in terms of cycle parts with telescopic forks up front and nitrox dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by a disc at both ends assisted by single-channel ABS.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F BS6 is available in two dual-tone colour options including black with blue decals and black with red graphics.
