Bajaj has updated the Pulsar 220F with a new paint scheme as a part of the festive season celebrations.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is now available in a new dual tone paint job with the black and red colours adorning the fuel tank, side panels and the fairing. The exhaust also gets a matte black finish. The tachometer gets a blue backlight. Other bits like the frame, wheels, engine and grab rails are blacked out. The mechanical bits have been carried over from the previous model. The Pulsar 220F is powered by a single-cylinder 220cc engine which delivers 21bhp and 19Nm of torque through a five-speed transmission.
Though it has been on sale since 2011 without any major upgrades, Bajaj sold 13,933 units of the Pulsar 220F in September hinting at the motorcycle’s popularity. This new paint scheme will be responsible for infusing novelty in the ageing motorcycle. Bajaj recently rolled out a special scheme for the Pulsar 220F to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Pulsar brand. The company offered savings of up to Rs 6,700 for those opting to finance their purchase.
