- Bajaj Pulsar 220 F new colours coming soon
- Spotted ahead of the official launch
- Likely to remain unchanged in all other areas
Bajaj Auto will soon launch two new colour options for its highly-popular semi-faired motorcycle, the Pulsar 220 F. One of these paint schemes includes a combination of matte black body panels and red graphics. Meanwhile, the other version is a bolder-looking amalgamation of matte white, red and black shades. Although these colours of the Pulsar 220 F have already been spotted, Bajaj is yet to officially launch them.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220 F is one of the few motorcycles that incorporate dated hardware and features. And apart from the introduction of new colours and graphics, it hasn’t received many significant updates throughout its life span. However, it continues to sell generously in several parts of India, mainly because of its distinctive and boisterous visual appeal.
Powering the Bajaj Pulsar 220 F is a 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that churns out 20.11bhp and 8,500 rpm and 18.55Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. This unit works in tandem with a five-speed gearbox. It rides on 17-inch alloys, gets telescopic forks, dual shock absorbers and a disc at both ends. The list of features include a halogen-type projector headlamp, LED tail lamp, semi-digital console and a 15 litre fuel tank.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is currently priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom) and it might get slightly costlier with the launch of new colours. Bajaj will also introduce new colours for the Pulsar 180 and you read about it here.
