- Pulsar F250 discontinued
- Sales weren’t up to the mark
- Pulsar N250 will continue to be sold
Bajaj Auto has discontinued the Pulsar F250 semi-faired motorcycle from the Indian market. The company has removed this bike from its official website, and new units aren’t being billed to its dealers.
The Pulsar F250 was launched alongside its naked sibling – the N250 in late 2021. Since then, the Pulsar N250 has found a decent fanbase, while the Pulsar F250 struggled. The company hoped that with the launch of the F250, the sales of the famous Pulsar 220F would decrease and the customers would rather opt for a more modern and premium F250. However, that didn’t happen and the Pulsar 220F continued to outsell the 250cc motorcycle.
Initially, Indian consumers used to have some liking towards faired and semi-faired motorcycles. But over the last three years, there has been a change in behaviour and consumers are favouring a cleaner and naked designs more. We spoke with a few Bajaj dealers who also confirmed this.
For now, the Pune-based manufacturer won’t sell the F250 in 2025. But this company is known to bring back discontinued models after a few years. So we can expect this Pulsar to make a comeback as well.
