- Spotted testing near Pune
- Appears to be inching closer to production
- Likely to be powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine
We have again come across spy shots of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N125. The bike was spotted around Pune and seems inching closer to production. The bike has been spotted multiple times and the spy images have revealed quite a few details as well.
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar is likely to be a thoroughbred commuter but with a dash of sporty and youthful elements. As seen on this test bike, it is equipped with a relatively muscular fuel tank with extensions too. Then, there is a split seat with a two-piece grab rail. We expect an LED headlight on the new Pulsar N125.
It is likely to house the same 125cc single-cylinder engine that we see on the current Pulsar 125. However, you can expect minor tweaks to it. The N125 will get a five-speed gearbox and its hardware could include a front disc and rear drum brake as seen in these images. Bajaj could also offer ABS, a digital console and smartphone connectivity on the upcoming Pulsar N125. The suspension setup comprises telescopic front forks and a monoshock.
With the new Pulsar N125, Bajaj will have a new rival for the TVS Raider and the Hero Xtreme 125R. The Raider has been fairly popular and has been around for a while whereas the Xtreme 125R is the new and emerging crop in the 125cc market.
