- Equipped with a halogen headlight
- Could be offered in multiple variants
- Spotted testing multiple times
After the Bajaj Bruzer CNG bike was spotted testing recently, we have now come across spy images of another Bajaj commuter. This time it is the Pulsar N125, also spotted earlier. However, the new test bike images indicate a little change and hint there could be multiple test mules.
Unlike the previous test mule with an LED unit, the recently spotted Bajaj Pulsar N125 was equipped with a halogen headlight. This further indicates that Bajaj could be working on two models with different features. This means the Pulsar N125 could also get a semi-digital console for the base model and a fully digital LCD for the higher-spec trim.
We expect Bajaj to use the same 125cc that it currently employs in the Pulsar 125. For reference, it is a 124cc single-cylinder motor and makes 11.64 bhp and a torque of 10.8Nm. However, the Pulsar 125 in itself is an old platform which needs a refresh. Moreover, with the TVS Raider and the newly launched Hero Xtreme 125R, it is time for Bajaj to step up its game too.
So, with the launch of the Pulsar N125, Bajaj can have a new sporty commuter in the segment at an aggressive price tag. For reference, Bajaj currently has the Pulsar 125 which costs about Rs. 95,000 and the recently updated Pulsar NS125 which retails at Rs. 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
