- Features small and commuter bike proportions
- Equipped with an LED headlight
- Will rival the TVS Raider
Bajaj has been testing the upcoming Pulsar N125 for a while and now we have come across new spy shots of the test bike. The test mule was spotted near Pune and here is what it looks like.
The probable N125 looks sleek and relatively compact in terms of its proportions. It is likely to get an LED headlight, a muscular fuel tank with shrouds, a split seat and a single-piece grab rail. The rider's stance seems neutral with slightly rear-set footpegs and a tubular handlebar which appears well under the rider’s reach.
Bajaj could use the same 125cc single-cylinder engine that it currently employs in the Pulsar 125 but with slight changes. The bike is likely to get a five-speed gearbox. Some previous spy shots have also shown a fully digital instrument console, so we expect the same on the production model as well.
The hardware seen here is quite simple and basic. The front end gets telescopic front forks and the rear uses a monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking is done by a single front disc and rear drum brake setup. These are mounted on 17-inch wheels.
With the launch of the Pulsar N125, Bajaj will likely be aiming at the TVS Raider buyers, the ones that want a commuter motorcycle with frugal performance and a dash of sportiness in terms of looks and peppy performance.
