Bajaj Auto has launched another 125cc motorcycle in its commuter bike portfolio and it is the Pulsar N125. We spent some time riding it around Pune including a go-kart track and here are five of its highlights if you plan to purchase it.
Design
With the N125, Bajaj has introduced a new design language to the Pulsar line. This one looks notably different from the rest of the Pulsar lineup with its youthful and sporty yet commuter-oriented design. Moreover, some of the colour options on the Pulsar N125 are relatively new on a Bajaj bike and look quite attractive, to say the least.
Features
Along with the LED illumination, Bajaj has also offered a fully digital console with the Pulsar N125. The top-spec version gets Bluetooth connectivity which allows you to pair your smartphone with the bike’s console. Not to mention, it gets CBS as well.
Engine
Powering the Bajaj Pulsar N125 is a 124.5cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that makes 11.38bhp and 11Nm. It is linked to a five-speed gearbox and the overall engine performance is smooth, likeable, and something you could look forward to in a daily commuter bike.
Hardware
The Bajaj Pulsar N125 rides on telescopic front forks and a monoshock. Its braking hardware comprises a front disc and rear drum setup mounted on 17-inch wheels. These are wrapped in 80/100 front and 110/80 rear tyres. The non-Bluetooth trim gets a 100/90 rear tyre. The Pulsar N125 tips the scale at 125kg and gets a 9.5-litre fuel tank.
Price
The asking price for the Bajaj Pulsar N125 is set at Rs. 94,707 for the standard model and Rs. 98,707 (both ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Bluetooth variant. It rivals the TVS Raider 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125R.
