- Bajaj Pulsar N160 launch soon
- To get connectivity feature
- Could get slightly updated engine
The updated Bajaj Pulsar N160 is set to make its debut soon and now, the brand has released a new teaser video on its social networks revealing a few more details about the motorcycle.
This teaser video reveals that the Pulsar N160 will come with an LCD screen that offers connectivity features for call and text alerts. Whether or not it will offer turn-by-turn navigation is yet to be known. Nevertheless, this would be a big step-up for the Pulsar range which seemed outdated for quite a while now.
That said, this isn’t the only update the Pulsar N160 will receive. Spied testing on the road, the motorcycle will also get upside-down forks as standard. On the other hand, the Pulsar N150 will also get a few substantial updates like a rear disc brake and a different seat setup. Other than these changes, Bajaj is also likely to adorn the new Pulsar range with new colour options to increase its appeal.
However, not much changes are expected to the engine to make it E20-compatible. The current Bajaj Pulsar N160’s engine makes 15.68bhp at 8750rpm and 14.65Nm at 6750rpm. As for pricing, it could cost Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 over the bike’s current pricing and go up against the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Hero Xtreme 160R.
