Bajaj Auto has revamped an array of Pulsar models recently and updated them with new features, hardware, and pricing as well. In this process, the Pulsar N160 also received a refresh and is now sold in two variants. Here is what the two trims of the N160 have to offer.
Base
As the name suggests, this is the base trim for the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and is priced at Rs. 1,33,408 (ex-showroom, Delhi). In this variant, you get three colours – Brooklyn Black, Pearl Metallic White, and Polar Sky Blue.
Further, the base model rides on conventional telescopic front forks and a monoshock setup. While the most affordable Bajaj Pulsar N160 also gets dual-channel ABS, it comes with a semi-digital instrument console that gets smartphone connectivity for calls and SMS alerts.
Top Spec
This is the recently launched variant of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and it comes with a bunch of new bits. Unlike the base model, the new trim gets USD front forks with a golden colour finish, new graphics on the fuel tank, and a new paint scheme of Glossy Racing Red.
Further, the top spec Pulsar N160 also features a fully digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity for call and SMS alerts, as well as turn-by-turn navigation. Its safety too has been enhanced with the introduction of the three ABS modes – Road, Rain, and Off-road.
The asking price of the new Bajaj Pulsar N160 is set at Rs. 1,39,693 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it about Rs. 6,000 more expensive than the base trim.
That said, both variants use the same design and are powered by the same 164.82cc, oil-cooled engine that pumps out 15.68bhp at 8,750rpm and 14.65Nm at 6,750rpm. It gets a five-speed gearbox.
