Bajaj Auto seems to have aggressive plans for the Indian market. First they launched the new Pulsar NS 125 on 20 April, and now they have come up with the Dagger Edge Edition for the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and the Pulsar 220F. Changes on this edition are only limited to the paint scheme and graphics. No mechanical changes can be seen on these bikes.
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Dagger Edge Edition is offered with two matte colour options, Pearl White and Saffire Blue. Pearl White colour comes with red highlights on the mudguard and rims. It also gets red-black graphics across its body and belly pan as well. Meanwhile, the Saffire Blue colour comes with white highlights on front mudguard and rims, and it also gets white-black graphics across its body and belly pan. However, there are no mechanical changes on the bike. It still uses the same 149.5cc four stroke unit which churns out 13.8bhp of power at 8500rpm and 13.5Nm of torque at 6500rpm.
The Pulsar 180 eliminates the Saffire Blue and gets an additional Volcanic Red and Sparkle Black matte colours over its 150cc sibling. The Volcanic Red colour gets the same white-black graphics and highlights. Whereas, the Sparkle Black colour gets only red graphics and highlights. Powering the bike is the same 178.6cc motor which produces 16.8bhp at 8500rpm and 14.52Nm at 6500rpm.
The Pulsar 220F gets the same four colours which are discussed above on its siblings, with the same graphics and highlights. At its heart sits the same 220cc unit which is capable of delivering 20.1bhp at 8500rpm and 18.55Nm at 7000rpm.
