- Probably on a component test run
- No changes appear when compared to the current NS125
- Gets the same design, and hardware too
A new test mule of an apparent Bajaj bike has been spotted. We think it is the recently updated Bajaj Pulsar NS125. A few components like the LED DRLs under the camouflage, the alloys, the rear shape, and the overall bodywork give it away. Since the Chakan-based bikemaker recently updated the bike, the NS125 may be out on a component test run.
For reference, Bajaj recently updated the NS125 with a new headlight setup. It consists of new LED DRLs with high and low beams in between. Then, the instrument console too was revised and it is now a fully digital unit with smartphone connectivity that allows SMS and call notifications alongside other readings.
That said, the NS125 retained its design, engine and hardware. Powering the baby NS is a 125cc, single-cylinder engine and it develops 11.8bhp and 11Nm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
The bike rides on telescopic front forks and a monoshock while the braking hardware comprises a single front and rear disc with ABS. Moreover, with the new updates, the asking price for the Pulsar NS125 was increased by Rs. 5,000 and it now retails at Rs. 1,04,922 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
