The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is a premium alternative to the Pulsar 150 and retails at a price tag of ₹ 1.02 lakh (on-road Mumbai). It uses a BS-IV compliant single-cylinder 160cc oil-cooled engine, which generates 15.3bhp of power and 14.6Nm of torque. It is mated to a five-speed transmission, unlike the NS200.
The NS160 retains all design elements from the NS200. Although the smaller sized tyres and smaller front disc differentiates it from its bigger sibling. It shares the perimeter frame design from the NS200, which means it will have more modern ride and handling than the Pulsar 150. The Pulsar NS160 is available in black, white and red and will compete against the Honda CB Hornet 160R, Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZ-S 2.0 FI.
