- Bajaj commences dealer dispatch
- Pricier by Rs 2,550 than standard variant
The new rear disc brake variant of the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 will be priced at Rs 99,540 (on-road, Mumbai). The dealer dispatch has commenced and a few showrooms already have the bike on display.
The Pulsar NS160 was launched in India in a single variant, which retails at Rs 96,990 (on-road, Mumbai). This makes the rear disc brake variant pricier by Rs 2,550. Unlike what the previous spy shots showed, the new variant continues with the same alloy wheel design and a petal disc. By the looks of it, the rear disc seems to have been borrowed from the Pulsar NS200.
There are no other visual or technical changes in the Pulsar NS160. The motorcycle continues to be powered by a 160cc single-cylinder engine delivering 15.3bhp and 14.6Nm of torque. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox. With this new feature, the Pulsar NS160 is now on par with the competition, which consists of the Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Honda CB Hornet 160R.
