- Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160 now available in three colours
- New red paint theme available at select dealers
- Availability and pricing likely to be announced soon
Bajaj Auto has started rolling out a new colour option for its Pulsar NS range products, the Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160. These roadster-segment motorcycles, which rival the likes of the Apache RTR 200 4V and Apache RTR 160 4V, will now be available in a new red colour theme. The new paint option will join the existing palette that comprises Ebony Black and Pearl Metallic While colours.
This new paint theme uses red colour as the base along with highlights of white that are visible on the headlight mask, fuel tank, engine cowl, and rear panels. Notably, the changes are limited to the addition of this paint theme. Meanwhile, the hardware and specifications remain unaltered. Thus, the Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160 retain a single-pod headlight with a halogen bulb and twin LED DRLs, a clip-on-style handlebar, a semi-digital instrument cluster, sharp panels, and split-style alloy wheels.
The mechanical specifications on the Pulsar NS200 include a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 24bhp at 9,750rpm and 18.74Nm at 8,000rpm. The Pulsar NS160, on the other hand, is powered by a 160.3cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor that delivers 17bhp at 9,000rpm and 14.6Nm at 7,250rpm.
This new paint theme is not listed on the company’s official website yet. However, it has started to arrive at select dealerships already. Thus, we expect to hear an announcement soon.
