- Bajaj Pulsar NS200 BS6 gets dearer by Rs 999
- Priced at Rs 1,28,506 (ex-showroom, Pune)
Bajaj Auto has marginally increased the prices of most of its offerings in India which also includes the Pulsar NS200 BS6. The street naked motorcycle has become dearer by Rs 999 and costs Rs 1,28,506 (ex-showroom, Pune) now.
The BS6 version of the Pulsar NS200 was launched in April this year. The only change it has received is in the engine which emits cleaner gases now. It continues to be powered by a 199.5cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine which churns out 24.2bhp and 18.5Nm. Interestingly, this is marginally higher than the power figures of its BS4 counterpart which makes 23.2bhp and 18.3Nm. Transmission duties continue to be handled by a six-speed gearbox.
The sharp and sporty styling of the Pulsar NS200 has remained the same for years and the only cosmetic change it has received are new graphics. While the illumination is provided by conventional bulbs, it sports LED position lamps and tail lamp. The instrumentation setup comprises of an analogue tachometer accompanied by a small LCD display. With a clip-on handlebar, split seat and centre-set footpegs, the motorcycle offers comfortable yet slightly aggressive ergonomics.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 BS6 is available in four colour options – black, white, yellow and red. It goes up against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Hero Xtreme 200R.
