Bajaj has launched the BS6 Pulsar NS200 in India with a price tag of Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom). If you are looking to buy a motorcycle in a similar budget as the Pulsar NS200, there are four options to consider.
While the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is a streetfighter, the Gixxer SF is a aggressively styled faired motorcycle. Suzuki has put a price tag of Rs 1.21 lakh on the standard variant. The motorcycle is also available in MotoGP inspired colours which costs Rs 1.22 lakh. Powering the Gixxer SF is a 155cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that produces 13.4bhp of power and 13.8Nm of torque, and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Using the same 155cc engine as the Gixxer SF is the Intruder 150. The cruiser motorcycle is also built on the same platform as the former and borrows styling inspiration from the bigger Suzuki Intruder M1800R. Suzuki is offering the Intruder 150 in a single variant which is priced at 1.20 lakh.
Royal Enfield’s retro-styled Bullet 350 is offered in two versions- kickstart and self-start which are priced from Rs 1.21 lakh to Rs 1.37 lakh depending on the colour option. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that puts out 19.1bhp of power and 28Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The only electric motorcycle in this list comes from Revolt in the form of the RV400. It is available in two versions- standard and premium that are priced at Rs 1.29 lakh and Rs 1.47 lakh each. The RV400 uses a 3KWh motor which produces 5kW of power and 50Nm of torque. It offers a top speed of 85kmph and a claimed range of 152km.
