- Will get a fully digital console similar to the NS 200
- Could get ABS modes too
- Likely to be offered in multiple colours
We have just come across new details on the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400. The bike will likely get a fully digital instrument console and the unit is expected to be similar to the one we see on the new NS200. This unit will feature smartphone connectivity, for call and SMS alerts and navigation.
Then, there will be multiple colour options including the red one leaked earlier along with white and probably black. You can also expect Bajaj to integrate features like ABS modes and traction control on the most powerful Pulsar to enhance its safety net.
Powering the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 could be a Dominar 400-sourced 373cc engine. For reference, it makes 39.42bhp and a torque of 35Nm in its current state. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox in a perimeter frame. Even the hardware for the NS400 has been revealed and the bike rides on USD front forks and a monoshock while the braking duties are done by a single front and rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels.
On the design front, the Pulsar NS400 appears to be an evolution of the NS200. The fuel tank area near the seat, the split seat with the tail section and the grab rail, all appear to be on the lines of its smaller sibling.
Bajaj will launch the Pulsar NS400 on 3 April and its asking price could be around Rs. 2-2.3 lakh range. It will rival the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G310 R and TVS Apache RTR 310.
