- India launch tomorrow
- Will be priced at Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom)
- To be powered by a 373cc, liquid-cooled motor
The biggest and the most powerful Pulsar from Bajaj, the NS400, will be launched in India tomorrow. The new Pulsar NS400 will be offered in four colour schemes – Glossy Racing Red, Metallic Pearl White, Ebony Black, and Pewter Grey.
We have revealed exclusive details about the Bajaj Pulsar NS400, including its features, specifications, and its price tag.
The design of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is a minor evolution of the Pulsar NS200. While Pulsar purists may like the styling, others will find it borderline uninspiring. And, that is because even after 12 years of the Pulsar NS200 launch, the NS400’s design is more-or-less similar. The highlight of the design is the new projector-LED headlamp and the characteristic thunder-shaped DRLs.
Powering the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that will make 39.5bhp and 35Nm of peak torque. It will be coupled to a six-speed gearbox. Feature-wise, the motorcycle will get a full-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The NS400 will also get four ride modes, switchable traction control system, and a ride-by-wire throttle.
The Pulsar NS400 will be underpinned by a perimeter frame suspended on golden-coloured upside-down forks up front and a rear monoshock. The motorcycle will ride on 17-inch wheels and will get disc brakes at both ends.
Judging by Bajaj Auto’s cost-effective packaging, we expect the new Pulsar NS400 to be priced at around Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of competition, it will rival the TVS Apache RTR 310 and the BMW G 310 R.
